And so it begins. . .
The All Star Rotary Serving Humanity End Polio Now Foundation Centennial began when the clock struck midnight last night. If there was ever an opportunity for Rotarians to let folks know what exactly Rotary is all about, this is the year.
I look forward to supporting the 61 clubs and 3200 Rotarians in District 6970. An All Star Team of Presidents has mapped out what should be the most significant year in Rotary’s history.
We will see the last case of polio.
We will continue to do good in the world.
We will celebrate next June in Atlanta.
To support these goals, District 6970 will send a team to Tucson, AZ to participate in the Ride To End Polio, host a Million Dollar Dinner with RI President John Germ on April 29, and conduct the All Star Conference on the eve of the Rotary International Convention.
Hey now, you’re an All Star, get your game on, go play. And all that glitters is gold, only shooting stars break the mold.
Let’s do it!
